Control Panel Technician

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Assembly, wiring and testing of control panels based on wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and specifications.

  • Routing and bundling of wire and cables neatly to meet wiring standards.

  • Read basic wiring diagram and install low voltage wiring in control panel based on diagram

  • Adhere to all quality and safety codes

  • Able to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics and or engineering drawings.

  • Involves wiring, crimping and working with wire harnesses.

  • Maintain red-line mark-ups of changes made during fabrication.

  • Prepare completed control panels for shipment

  • Communicate effectively with all team members


Requirements:

  • Must be punctual and reliable

  • Ability to maintain attention to detail

  • Ability to lift heavy items

  • Ability to climb a 6’ ladder safely to retrieve stored parts from shelving

  • Reliable transportation

  • Experience using hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, etc.


We will provide training on how to read wiring diagrams and wire these panels.
