Job Description:
Full-time field based position to maintain and service Direct Digital Control (DDC) and Building Automation Systems (BAS). Work will include regular maintenance, as well as service calls for a variety of control system types and manufacturers.
Responsibilities:
Interfacing with customers and contractors in a professional manner
Perform periodic maintenance on customers' systems
Responding to customer service calls
Troubleshooting and repairing controllers, devices, and programming
Communicate with the Service Manager
Perform point to point, check-out and controls startup for small service projects.
Qualifications:
Two or more years servicing commercial BAS and DDC systems
Minimum education: High school diploma or GED
Strong mechanical/refrigeration service background
Experience reading mechanical, electrical, and DDC control drawings
Experience with large commercial HVAC systems such as chilled water plants, heating hot water plants, air handlers, water source heat pumps, VAVs, etc
Ability to work independently and in an efficient manner
