South Campus Plaza

General Scope

The scope for San Diego State University’s South Campus Plaza involved construction of two new 6-story student residence halls, each with street level tenant spaces. The project also included a parking structure and central plant to serve the residence buildings.

OUR SCOPE

Our team provided full control of the HVAC equipment for the South Campus Plaza complex, which included over 400 fan coils, a 2-chiller chilled water plant, 2-boiler heating hot water plant, domestic hot water plant, lighting integration, a thorough utility metering system and more. We integrated the entire control system to a central server, which hosted an intuitive graphical user interface to match the existing SDSU standard. This allowed the customer to seamlessly take control and monitor all systems.
